Mr Kill Without Asking

'Mr. Kill without asking...' - A Vampire Romantic Comedy by Nekodra K.D. LaCroix

Lol, I just like that line, it amuses me so.

So, progress on A Vampire Romantic Comedy is going, AMAZING! I have written over 50 pages of just dialogue and minor notes of actions. Let me repeat that, over 50 pages of just dialogue. Can you tell how excited I am? How motivated I am? Not only am I putting my heart and soul into this story, and I feel what I have done so far rather reflect that, but I am so- excited and inspired to work on this. It probably helps that it is fueled by the hopes of it being made into a movie and dreaming of certain actors playing the roles of these characters, and the silly idea of being Nataline. Not that it will happen, but dreams are pleasant and motivation is good.

Aside from the over 50 pages of near pure dialogue, I have about 17 pages worth of the novelization. Everyday I am writing and working on this, even work days. That is how much I am loving this story, I fight through groggy tiredness from a 10 hour shift to type up the ideas I had that day. (I don't want to make the same mistake as I did with Modern Magic and fall behind on the typing up notes. x.x Oh Modern Magic, I swear I haven't forgotten you...) I have discovered that I really like this method of writing, working mostly on dialogue first then moving to writing it as a novel. I find it helps to pin down the plot and what will happen, getting that worked out first before getting off track with descriptions of everything.

Though I will admit, that due to Rick Gualtieri's Bill the Vampire series, I did slack of a bit on writing this week compared to previous weeks. Though I still managed to get some work done and finish the first two books of the Tome of Bill. Not that I am really complaining, I have a new favorite Vampire, Bill Ryder. There are three books out for this series. Bill The Vampire book one, Scary Dead Things book two, and The Mourning Woods book three. Which just came out and I am currently reading. So far loving it as much as the other two. If you enjoy comedy, horror, vampires and nerds, then I suggest this series. I laughed on almost every page. Kinda of makes me want to hide my attempted at a comedy book. >.<.....

Did I mention I have a new favorite vampire? Bill Ryder, give me a moment while I swoon some more.

Also speaking of Modern Magic. I do and still plan to finish that, but it is a long story. It will be a long-ish series, and for me that requires a lot more work and thought to plan all that out. I should try my new writing method. Plus I don't know what it is about Madori, but I am struggling to pin down her character and background. Aside from her, I have a lot on Modern Magic written down. Which is part of the problem. o_o Don't really want to type up all those notes I made when my laptop was broken. Goodness, I made a lot of notes.... Comedy, the dorky romantic comedy I have in mind doesn't really require a thick interwoven plot like a series....Although the last few scene ideas have seem to turn it a bit more complicated that originally intended. But it is fun and relaxing to write and everything is type up. (._. ) Also WOVaN vol 01, as I have said before is done story wise, for the most part. I feel it lacks something I haven't figured it out, plus it does still need editing which I plan to do. I should do, shame on me. Currently my goals have reversed. I want A Vampire Romantic Comedy to be finished and published first. Though maybe I should give WOVaN some attention again... While setting goals is important, I think tweaking them on occasion is still okay. Right? I am still on track for my main and original goal, have something publish ready by the end of the year. I have a good feeling about A Vampire Romantic Comedy.  And if not, I have WOVaN sitting right there.
Bill Ryder -Image from his Facebook

I shall cross my fingers and although being distracted by Bill Ryder in all his Sexy Nerd Vampire-ness, I will/must keep making good progress and work on my own stories every day.

Regardless of which of the two I feel are publish ready before the end of the year, I will have something. I am determined. One of these stories will be finished and published. The problem with having too many ideas. x.x Its hard to know which I will managed to feel is ready first. But finish I shall, but in the meantime, back to stalki- I mean reading about Bill Ryder in The Mourning Woods.

Umm..... Here take a sample from A Vampire Romantic Comedy by Nekodra K.D. LaCroix

The Morning After
There is not enough coffee to clear the fog of coming back from the dead in a strangers bed.

Nataline groaned, placing a hand to her weirdly throbbing head. Talk about feeling like your waking from the dead. Nataline groggily thought.
“Ugh...I only had one drink..” She spoke a loud to herself, shifting under the chilly sheets, settling back in a more comfy spot, still partly wrapped in the warmth of sleep and unwilling to fully let go of its comfort. The last images of her dream etched on her mind yet out of reach to really remember. Someone had been holding her and that was the only abstract feeling she needed to not want to let go.
“I need coffee...” She muttered to the pillow and began moving to sit up and that is when she notice something was off about the feeling of that pillow. It was not the fuzzy softness of her space themed pillow cover.
“..and this is not my bed...” She commented, having yet to open her eyes, still unsure if she was ready to wake up and find out what reckless thing she might have actually done. She could feel cloths setting off the nerve endings of her skin, so that is a good sigh, right? Though she felt like a minor panic attack was hoovering on the edge of her near future, but her heart keep its oddly very slow and steady beat, yet her chest felt tight like it was racing.
“You had half a drink, but it was what I drank that knocked you on your ass.”
The voice came from her immediate left, and though it registered on some level as familiar Nataline still found herself making an embarrassing squeak of surprise and a comical flail of her arms as she slipped off the edge of the right side of the bed and unmistakable thump of her ass landing on the not so forgiving ground next to it.
“umpf...” She groaned, cracking open one eye to be greeted with Mikael bursting with laughter as his face peeked over the edge of the bed, where he was laying on his stomach. His long hair a bit frazzled from the nights sleep.
“Your a graceful one.” He commented, still laughing as he rolled onto his back.
“My eyes where closed, I was in a strange bed; not a proper judge of my gracefulness.” Nataline try to defend herself, with a glare.
“We will see about that.” He rolled back over to look at her, still chuckling.
Nataline paused to think a moment, studying his face. Feeling herself drawn to his eyes, but shook it off. He face was round but he had more of a square chin and his grin was a little lopsided. He had a very animated face, and she had a feeling that he was someone who could pretend to be just about any personality that he felt require to get what he wanted. She wondered if the way he was last night was anything true to his personality or just he working to get what he wanted. If she was honest with herself, he was damn fine looking and the suit he was in last night had lead to a rather attractive air, if you set aside the fact he was overly cocky for her liking.
“Mikael, right?” She recalled his name, that was a good sign she remembered meeting him at BRB Tavern last night, the image was slow and flitted across her mind of him getting cozy and introducing himself in that very attractive suit. No, that does not excuse him from kidnapping her!
“Good, you have a mem-” He started and was rather taken back by her sudden outburst.
“You sick pervert! Trust me, you said! Most fun you'll ever have! - No quote 'I will show you an eternity of fun'! Did you rouffie me?! You sick-” She rushed up to give him a piece of her mind and found herself already standing on her feet impossibly quickly.
“Whoa, head rush...” She held her head with both hands and closed her eyes as the world caught up with her. Feeling displaced from time for a moment. She took slow careful breaths that felt odd but a habit.
“You will get used to it.” Mikael waved it off like it was no big deal.
Maybe I am loosing it. She thought, and started patted her pockets for her phone which was not there. Shit!
“One, please tell me that being in my clothes is a good thing and you didn't just simply redress me and two, where in the fuck is my phone, pervert.” She turned to glare at him accusingly that he had taken her phone and this was a kidnapping after all. And while she should be scared, oddly enough she was not and instead just irritated that it had to be an rather a attractive and well off looking man had decided to drug and take her home with him. What did scared her was she couldn't remember anything after telling him that large ego's were not attractive as she walked away.
Well it was time to stop beating around the bush, Mikael pushed himself up to sit on the edge of the bed.
“Hey, just because I am a Vampire, does not make me a total monster. Name calling is hurtful, and you will get your phone back after I explain everything, and your panic attack is done.” Then waited patiently for her response, her pleading for life. For her to freak out and try to run away.
What he didn't expect was her lack of shock.
“Great. Lovely, as much as I would like to geek out that you are obviously a Vampire fan. YOUR NUTS! If you tell me you sparkle in sunlight, I am staking you myself. Regardless if you are or not.” She poked her finger towards his chest, glaring.
Ah, well once again she did not react as expected. Unsure if it was due to doubt or her being just crazy, Mikael resolved to put doubt completely off the table and see where that takes things. In the blink of an eye, Mikael had her pinned to the wall using his body to hold her still. He had one hand pinning her's above her head and the other held her to her side. He lavished her neck with a few kisses before he sank his fangs in the same place he had last night, opening a new wound over the healed one.
Nataline curled her fingers in attempt to hold onto something as the pleasure washed over her body.
“Oh~ Gods~” Nataline groan with passion and last night came flooding back. She tried to say something else, but she lost all train of thought, and suddenly it was over far too soon, and that moment of ice dumping on her washed across her body as he released her. Her eyes were half open as he looked down at her, licking his lips of blood....

It still needs some work, I am sure. I make silly mistakes that I haven't caught yet, and some I won't catch thus why will have others look at it at a later point. Hope you enjoyed the snip-it from the story. The dream cast for Mikael is Bill Hader.
Have a good night.

Dreaming with Starry Eyes

"You have to dream big while bracing for a possible fall, right?" -Nekodra

Jimmy Fallon (Image from google)
I am so giddy and excited! I finally thought of so many scenes for what I have decided to call: A Vampire Romantic Comedy. Its simple and to the point. I actually have dialogue now! I like to think its funny. It makes me laugh, does that count?
Well it also amused my boyfriend, so hopefully its decent. He already has a favorite character. Yay!

Goals this weekend:
-Continue adding scenes to A Vampire Romantic Comedy
-Continue restructuring Luminescence in the Darkness
-Work on WOVaN vol. 01 if I get both samples. back

A Vampire Romantic Comedy:
I do still wish I could work with Seth Meyers or just a comedian to help make it funnier. I say Seth Meyers, because I know (according to his Imdb) that he is a Head writer on SNL. But really, I think anyone from SNL would be fun to work with. Hence also why 4 of the dream cast members are/or were once on SNL.

Jason Sudeikis and Seth Meyers on SNL (image from google)
Speaking of dream cast members, I added another. Here is how it currently looks for My Dream Cast:
Bill Hader, Seth Meyers, David Tennant, Timothy Omundson, Jimmy Fallon, Jason Sudeikis and me as main love interest's best friend. ^_^

Though things could change, turns out the character I was working with David Tennant in mind took some odd turns and now I might swipe Bill Hader's as the actor and David Tennant's will get Bill's original character. >.< So there is shuffling and changing, but for the most part I want to have those as my dream cast members. So I will need to think of something so David Tenannt is still there, because I am unsure if I will be keeping Bill's original character. I hope that isn't confusing, half the characters still don't have names and the other half, are only partly fully finalized. We will see how it goes.

Regardless I am making leaps and bounds in the story! That makes me happy. I am first writing it as a script and then I am going to adapt it to a novel and my goal is to have it published by February, we will see how it turns out too. That should be enough time. I have the plot written out, its just a matter of filling in those gaps and thinking of funny one liners. I have a few. Teehe, I am rather proud of a MineCraft pick-up line I created. That whole conversation is one big 'Nerd Alert!' which makes me giddy and double over with laughter. /sing "...Nerds are sexy and you know it.." /shot

Speaking of changing words in songs, I am loving working as a game tester. Though... There are frustrations just like any other job. I won't say details, NDA and all. But I will say, we need to make a Testers soundtrack. lol, we have broken into song, changing words to ones that apply to game testing more then once. I love the people I work with! Work days are full of laughter and nerd. Its heaven.

WOVaN:
WOVaN I believe I mentioned was finished story wise, now is major edit time. I am so excited! Because of the subject matter, I am shooting to have it ready and on Amazon by October. Which feels so far away, but that is what I am shooting for. The cover art hasn't been started yet, so I'd have to wait on that anyways. Plus I can't afford my new laptop till next payday (Thorsday! so close! -note: misspelled on purpose-) and I need that to polish that stylized title I was talking about. Which again, I think it is boss. I can't wait to share it.

I sent a sample of WOVaN to an editor and also another person. I have gotten one back and once I get the other back then maybe I can decided if I will go with a professional editor. I haven't quite decided if I can afford/ will go with a professional editor, yet. x_x I don't know. Its expensive and what if I never sell enough copies to make back the money spend on an editor and the cover commission? I am also doing my hardest not to mess with the stories or any of my own editing yet until then. Just patiently twiddling my thumbs and focusing my attention on another projects so I am not idling sitting there panicking over how horrible story probably really is: They are going to think I am an idiot to want to publish this and its not ready yet to see the light of day! Yes, I panic easily. Yes, that is pretty much quotes from my mini self in my head, you can add to it, her running around like a chicken with its head cut off. WOVaN is my first to be published baby, I am worried its not as good as it could be, but sometimes you just have to take a deep breath, put the pen/keyboard down and let your baby fly.

o.o Yeah, I kinda think what was a weird metaphor too.....

Some quotes I shared in the past from WOVaN:

"...Patted paws with deadly claws scratched the dirt and another howl rang through the woods, deafening from behind her, the hot breath sending terror through her body..." - WOVaN vol.01 by Nekodra K.D. LaCroix

"...head lulled, his vision swimming before him, seeing three, four, five versions of his attacker drifting in and out in front him; like a swarm of identical ghosts weaving in and out of each other as they sneered at him..." - WOVaN vol.01 by Nekodra K.D. LaCroix

"-crash from the front room, both in unison looked in that direction. Before their feet touched the ground, Seth found himself against-" WOVaN vol.01 by Nekodra K.D. LaCroix

New quotes from my projects:

[N] "-Gee wiz, way to make a girl feel special."
[E] "You didn't let me finish, it was quite lucky. Fate, clearly. That I ended up with you."
[N]"You make me feel all bubbly and warm my un-beating heart."
-A Vampire Romantic Comedy by Nekodra K.D. LaCroix

[N] "..and I won't be too much of a pain in the neck. Unless you want me to be."
[G] "Cheeky, I like it. You can certainly be a pain in my neck."
[E] "I don't know either of you."
-A Vampire Romantic Comedy by Nekodra K.D. LaCroix

[V] "Uh- Shit..."
[N]"You knew about Vampires and NEVER told me?!"
Starts punching his arm, pissed.
[V] "Ahh-You have enhanced strength, please remember that."
[N] "Who said I forgot?!"
-A Vampire Romantic Comedy by Nekodra K.D. LaCroix

"...She stiffed at the sound of heavy foot steps. She had dropped her guard in a moment of confusion. Angry at herself for getting distracted, it would cost her life, this mistake..." -Luminescence in the Darkness by Nekodra K.D. LaCroix
End of Quotes

Reply to Comments:
I want to say thank you, Rick Gualtieri who's book, Bill the Vampire, I am currently reading and absolutely loving! Laughing out loud almost every page. I want to thank Rick, for your comment and tips on my post Little Advice/Help

^_^ It helps to know that what I was thinking and so far what I have been doing is good- on the right track so to say. Its reassuring, so thank you! Also no worries about the cover art, its all her own work. She is doing a picture for the banner on my blog right now, and I have seen her Work In Progress. Plus, also I have known her for about 8-9 years, from my close knit high school group of friends.

Miscellaneous Other Things:
Last post, The Giddy Delusions of Dreams, I wrote the short story For Evergreen. I actually kind of liked how it turned out. I am thinking of perhaps adding to it (editing it). I may put it in WOVaN Vol 2 and add more to the beginning of the story. Little more of how and why it got to that point, but we will see. Would it take away from it?

I have also since that post, added to my document of my Silly SNL monologue ideas and making fun of my own stories with skit ideas. Is that sad? >.> One: doubtful I would get a chance to host SNL; and two: doubtful my ideas are up to par for their show. But heh, why not. It amuses me. I am having fun and that is all that matters.

Also on the subject of SNL-ish. I mention I added Jimmy Fallon to the dream cast, I watch Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on occasion with my dad and a recent episode he did an adorable video with Carly Rae Jepsen and the Roots 'Call me, Maybe'. It is forever what I see now when I hear that song and I makes me enjoy it even more.

I love Jimmy Fallon, I really hope he and at least most of not all of my dream cast members will want to play their respective characters- if I even somehow by some amazing luck, get to make A Vampire Romantic Comedy into a movie. Heck, I would be A-okay if they want to swap characters around! And Hell, if they want to change the story, add what surely would be better dialogue, I could could die on the spot and be euphoric! As I said, I would love to collaborate with them. Hey, nothing wrong with dreaming big.

I will leave you with that and now I will get back to work on A Vampire Romantic Comedy. Can't make the dream come true if I never finish the story!

Enjoy! And if you want to read random short stories...That I should probably go over again and edit them better. x.x But here are links..

Little Advice/Help

Asking for Advice:

I would like to ask for advice/help from any independent authors who come across this blog post.
While the books I would like to publish through Amazon at some point are not done, I am trying to make sure I understand the process before I finish one of the books so I am ready when they are.

Question 1: I was reading through Amazons page on KDP, and such, it mentioned that I have to have exclusive rights to my book to publish them. Do I have to do anything special, pay some company in order to claim I own my book- as in copy right or something- or is it by default mine unless I sold it to a publishing company?

Question 2: What about commissioning the cover of the book? I have commissioned it from a friend and she knows I want it for a book cover. Am I golden to use it as the cover with amazon, because I have permission from the artist?

Question 3: Is there a link you can give me to a good source for independent publishing, in case I have any other questions about the process?

Question 4: What do you suggest about editing? I know there will be errors that I won't catch and I would like to fix that, what do you suggest for getting a story edited before publishing?

Thank you so much, for anyone who helps me to answer these questions!
I have read various tips and such in blogs, but it never hurts to have a nice large rang of advice on a topic.

About WOVaN Project & Modern Magic:

The search is finished! I did find the story. I also found a whole bunch of old crappy stories I wrote 11 years ago as well. I did find a few old Floppy's which could have more stories. I am glad my parents haven't gotten rid of their old tower yet, we have a new one, but the old one is still nearby and it has a floppy drive, at some point I will boot that old puppy up and about a half hour later I can pop in the floppy and see what is on it, assuming they still work.

WOVaN is coming together nicely. If you haven't guessed yet, WOVaN is going to be a collection of short stories. It will be a series- I have MANY short stories. The first won't have too many, a small collection. There is a completely new story-ish, the first paragraph is from an old story I found, but after that is all new that I have been working on. I think it's at 3,000 words, it might end up as a Novelette and be the focus story of the collection and then a couple shorter stories. We will see how it goes. One story you may recognize from here, but I changed and edited it. Then some older stories I wrote years ago- fixed up and edited.

One of many Shrimp we caught. Big suckers.
I am still working on Modern Magic too, right now its sort of just typing up notes from when I didn't have a laptop (which is a LOT) and then trying to organize them in the proper storyline order. Kind of a daunting task at the moment.

How I am doing:

Started my new job last Tuesday! I work 4-10. Yeah, that is right, three day weekends baby. I think I am going to love this job! NDA doesn't let me talk details, but I work for Microsoft thru Volt, game testing. Don't look to me for leaks, I want to keep my job. XP Lol, but I am enjoying it. Bugging and Crashing a Natal (Kinect) game. Fun, fun. The people I work with are so much fun. I have finally found the perfect work environment. I don't want to leave this job anytime soon!

Me and a Shrimp. See! Big suckers.
Also speaking of fun, that last weekend with that super warm and sunny-ness- while me and the sun don't get along, I had a fun and packed weekend.

Friday- I went shrimping with my dad, grandpa and uncle Scotty. Spent time on my grandpa's boat from 6am to about 5pm. Good times. I am happiest on a boat. I want to have my own boat one day and just spend hours out on the water, perhaps a few nights. I love laying down on a boat and rocking in the waves. So calming. I can't describe how relaxing being on a boat is for me. Being on a boat rids me of nausea, that's how relaxing it is.

Cute little Dwarf Cuttlefish.
Saturday- I went to Pike Place Market for the first time- I know, whats wrong with me? I have lived near Seattle my whole life and I had never been to Pike Place. But I enjoyed it, and now that I have a job I want to go back and buy things. Several things. I will go back sometime later this summer. Me and my mom also went to the Seattle Aquarium. I love that place. I love getting to see all sorts of sea life, so beautiful. Also cute. I think my favorite part of the Aquarium is the Octopus and the Harbor Seals. Then- is it horrible that I went to the aquarium, loved and enjoyed seeing all the sea life and then I went to have dinner at Ivar's? <.< I love sea life both to observing and also eating. yum. ^_^

Oh, lets go to Book corner for a moment:

I still have so many books I want to read, I have over 120 samples waiting to be read and about 34 books I bought or found for free waiting to be read. I recently finished reading Gunship by John Davis. (The links are for Amazon) I believe the third book is due to be released soon, but I am not sure when. I haven't read the second book yet, Glimmeria, but it is on my list- in fact I should grab the sample to remind me. I did rather enjoy the book. It had a nice Firefly feel to it. I can match parallels to some of the characters. While the format of the books was hard to get used to, it was a great story. You grow to like the characters and so you want to continue to see how they are, if they are okay. If you enjoyed the show firefly, you will surely enjoy Gunship.

Right now I am currently catching up on Asimov magazine and then I will be back to reading Blood Skies by Steven Montano () Which I HIGHLY recommend. I haven't finished it yet, I am only on chapter 3, but I have to say: The world Steven Montano has eloquently painted with words is breathtaking & marvelous.
Me at Snoqualmie Falls on Mothers day

I don't know if this really fits into book corner, its a blog. I stumbled across @Suzisquared on twitter last night and by proxy I found her blog - Vampire Sexual Secrets. I have read a good deal of it by now and I will read more later tonight. But I have fallen in love with her blog and her Vampires. Ideal. That is the best word I can use. I have been seeking out Vampire since I was 4- so ever since I can remember I have gotten my hands on anything Vampire I could and while I will enjoy them on some level, some not, some I do love, but more often then not I would feel something is missing. Her Vampires, are probably the only ones that have made me feel- 'I finally found it.' Like I can take a breath and relax because I have found what I have been looking for all my life. I can't wait to get to the actual story, I am so excited. I have been reading through the other parts of her blog, which talk about her Vampires, the characters, and explaining things. Then I will read the actual story, which I am antici------------pating. Sorry, Rocky Horror Picture Show, can't help it.

Oh, and have you seen the English trailer for Kingdom Hearts? I am so excited to play! Can't wait! Already pre-ordered at Gamestop, and there will be a collectors edition through Gamestop, so when that is pre-orderable I will upgrade to that. Release date is nearly here! 7/31/12!

Alright, I think I have talked enough. Sorry for the lack of Short Story or a WOTDS. Had a busy first week of work, still getting used to it and I am feeling a little off. So what writing I can do I am putting towards WOVaN right now. This blog post- I have been slowly working on since last week. So my apologies, next post I will see what I can put together for you to read. For now, if you haven't read some of my other stories here is the WOTDS Guide and Short Stories Guide. I will leave you with that and back to editing WOVaN for me.

Hiatus on Hiatus

Heh, took me a while to actually post this because I got distracted by typing up my notes for Modern Day Magic and then what was going to be a WOTDS turned into this interesting Sci-fi story idea, that I want to polish up and maybe try and submit it to Asimov's Sci-fi Short Stories Magazine. Maybe. >.<

My parents now have a decent working computer- it can't run Minecraft, but it actually opens windows in a reasonable time frame. So this means the hiatus is more or less over. (assuming I don't get distracted by other story ideas again)  I will also be sure to no longer neglect the fact this is a blog to house my Short Stories of a Vampiric Nature and post a WOTDS with each post. This also means I have started attempting to decode my horrible handwriting and start typing up all my Modern Day Magic notes. Yay. I am excited. So modern Day Magic word count updates and WOTDS will start up again. I hope you all enjoy, and if you do- don't be shy in saying so. ^_~ Things are looking up. I am also working on a Facebook page for the blog, for those who may not have Twitter to get news of when there are updates for the blog. Still iffy on it, so unsure when it will actually open it for public view. For those who do have Twitter, don't forget you can follow me and get a tweets when I post a blog update. @Nekodra

It feels good to be actively thinking about and working on Modern Day Magic again- I wake up in the morning with a jolts of ideas again. I took a break for a while, lack of ideas and I just don't like writing it by hand. I also jotted down several pages worth of notes while I was out and about doing a few things. I also recently found an old collection of short stories I wrote when- I think 12 or somewhere around there- which I titled Twisted Universe, sort of a twilight Zone meets graphic horror. -Thought sadly there is one I want to find that I can't, but I have a few ideas of where it could be, but I can't get to that for a while. I think on the side, I might go through those -touch then up, edit them- and make a collection of short stories that I haven't posted here and maybe a few I have (only edited and perhaps expanded, maybe I will finish that story I started, To Hell With It, Part 1 )and put together a book of short stories. Would anyone be interested in buying that? I would probably do it through the Amazon self-publish, to test the waters so to say. ^_^ Don't know when though, or if I will, just an idea.

Okay, hmm- Do I have anything else to yammer about today? Have I mentioned recent books I have read or starting reading, or want to read? Lets start with that. So many books I want to read. I have over 80 samples on my kindle. The two samples I recently read and I am debating which to buy first and read are- Gunship by John Davies (@Johndavisbooks) or Wired Kingdom by Rick Chesler (@Rickchesler). Though the more I think about it, I am leaning towards Gunship first because the description mentioned Vampires and when I read the sample I couldn't help but be reminded of Firefly. So while the format, in the sample was a little hard to read just because there were a few spot it was hard to tell who said what, but other then that. I enjoyed the feel of the story, partly because of the reminder of Firefly and the anticipation to see what type of Vampires it will be and how it will be done. Yup, I just made up my mind, Gunship first then I will read Wired Kingdom. Annnd- Bought- Gunship is being sent to TARDIS (aka my Kindle). I will read will that once I an done working on the computer for a while.

There is also a Series I came across called In Her Name by Micheal R. Hicks I am curious to read too, I have the sample, but I haven't gotten to it yet. Same with Crater (A Helium-3 Novel) by Homer Hickam and Frozen Past and Near Death by Richard C Hale. So many books that sound so good. >.<

I also realized a few days that I had downloaded the Complete works of H.P Lovecraft for .99 cents a while ago because I remembered someone told me once I would love his stories, they are my kinda of stories. So I also read a few of the stories from there and I am enjoying them a lot. I now know where Cthulhu comes from which is awesome and I enjoyed that story. I like knowing- I have seen Cthulhu things, demoed the dice game at PAX and seen pictures. From the Grab bag TeeFury.com did a while ago and I got a Cthulhu Cookie monster shirt. Now I enjoy it more because I actually know what Cthulhu is.

WOTDS
April 23rd 2012
Finis (Latin)- End
Metus (Latin)- Fear

That’s it, that’s the end. I am done for. Screwed, totally screwed. I can’t fight this. I can’t win. This is terrifying. What the hell can I do?
“That’s no fair! Your reflexes are insane! I am surprise the controller can keep up with you!” Sighing in frustration, she flopped back on the couch, laughing; the controller left forgotten at her side.
“It can’t, it lagged really bad.” Cole remarked nonchalantly, then joining in the laughter.
“I don’t know why I even bother-” Sitting back up with a small glare that wasn’t serious.
“Because secretly you’re hoping to beat me, but even if you became a Vampire you couldn’t.” He pulled her into a hug as she continued to glare at him. “You also probably thought you could easily win because I haven’t played many games, but no ego boost for you.”
            She continued to playfully glare.
“Aw, don’t be a sore loser.” He added.
“I am not being a sore loser; I am pointing out how the scales are unfairly tipped in your favor because your reflexes are inhuman.” She replied defensively.
“I could fix that.” He brushed her hair off to the side, fangs becoming visibly longer as he grinned in what could only be described as a hungry predatory smirk while attempting to not smile like a goof.
Ember put her palm on his forehead and pushed him back, which he could have resisted but didn’t, and was now laying, awkwardly on the couch as Ember stood up and stuck her tongue out at him.
He just shook is head and laughed, then got a pillow in the face that Ember tossed lightly, actually aiming for his stomach and upon seeing it land on his face, darted up the stairs.
    (end?)

I know, its really short. It turned into a weird goofy playful scene between Cole and Ember from Modern Day Magic- Link to the post with an old version of the first chapter. I have edited it and change some things in the current format, but its an idea of the first chapter. Is it a story you might want to read? Keep in mind that post was a WIP of the chapter. I like to think it sounds better and I fixed things that sounded weird. I don't know if this scene will be cannon or not. It seems a possibility for when they grow closer and better friends, but not sure. It was fun to write, its an amusing video in my head. For other- longer- stories here is the Guide for WOTDS and Guide for Short Stories.  I need to go update the WOTDS Guide its a few stories behind now. >.< Must remember to do that.

Okay, I think I have ramble on enough. I actually managed a WOTDS today, as short that it is. >.>; *cough* Anyways- Back to Typing up notes for Modern Day Magic and the currently Unnamed Sci-Fi Vampire story I started the other day in place of a WOTDS. Enjoy.

Late Birthday Surprise

Still going to have sporadic posts, no laptop yet. I got almost half of what I needed to get a cheap-ish netbook- But I had a job interview! Super excited. It was the day before my birthday. It's a weeding process so there will be at least one more interview and it's unknown when that will be, because they don't have openings yet. They will have openings in the next few weeks and that's when the next interview will be- so any day now. The way my interviewer talked about it, sounded like I am a shoo in for another interview. Cross your fingers for me, it would be the best birthday present. And if I get the job, then screw getting a cheap netbook, I could get a new tablet laptop. I am so happy, just have to be patient. >.< Patience.

So in my excitement, I will wade through my parents crappy old old computer to give an update and write a WOTDS. Also fyi, it took me a few days to make this post merely because this ghastly old computer was driving me nuts and I could only handle it in small, very small doses. x.x I need a laptop, for the love of gods, let me get this job, for my sanity.

Zapp from Sakura-con. Photo from his Facebook page.
So Sakura-Con was fun as always. I love spending the time with my friends. So far I haven't been able to find any pictures of me and my fellow Pokemon Breeders. So if you were at Sakura-con 2012 Seattle, WA and you took any pictures involving a blue Pokemon Breeder with a cute small Lucario Plushie, that could be me and I would love to see the picture. There were three of us, a Red Breeder, Green Breeder and me, the Blue Breeder. Other then the one I showed in Split Musings I don't have any pictures of my cosplay. We did a 'photo shoot' with our friends who were Kagome, Sesshomaru and Naraku, but we ended up not taking pictures of the Breeders. So if you took any, please share. Next year, I will be joining the other three and I will be Rin. I likely will still bring the Breeder Cosplay and spend one day as a Breeder. But I am excited to branch out and try another Cosplay and as a group it should be fun.

Anyways, share pictures please and I can't wait for next year. Love Sakura-con. Zapp was there once again, love him. I hate the character Zapp from Futurama, but I love that cosplay of him. Weird, I know. The Zapp Loveline and Zapp Starship of Love was once again, AMAZING. They have a facebook- Zapp Branigan and His Spaceship of Love. Also of course, Cosplay Chess was so fun to watch. I kinda want to join next year, but I don't know if I have the guts. x.x

Spoilers for Hunger Games, Psych, and Doctor Who. Though if you keep up with the twitters of Moffat, Doctor Who news and other such Twitter accounts its not so much spoilers. But for those who want to know nothing, I should be courteous.

First Psych. The season finale was just last Wednesday. I can't believe they ended it like that! Honestly, I will be pretty upset if Henry doesn't pull through. Though I wonder if that's how they will lead into the musical episode, Henry loopy on pain killers. Lol. That would be funny. Until fall I will be worried about Henry. Can't wait. I believe they have started or are about to start filming. Aside from the ending, the episode was -as always-awesome as Psych has a habit of being, I just don't like the ending. See my crush favorites are Lassie and Shawn, then my favorite non-crush is Henry. He is bad-ass, remember the Deadman Curve Ball episode, tackle from no where for the win. Jules is also awesome, and I would at least steal a kiss from her. lol.

The Hunger Games: I actually only just read all three books for the first time just under a week before the movie hit theatres. Those three books had me by the balls, no joke- By. My(non-existing). Balls. I finished all three in about 2 and half days. I had trouble putting them down. Wonderful. I am late to the game I am sure, but if your of the few who haven't read them, I really suggest it. You won't be able to put them down.
I think they did a pretty good job on the movies. Things got glossed over, left out, it happens. I did like how hey unitized the game announcers. I feel there are just a few things I felt needed to be put in the movies that weren't there, because they play parts in the next books and I assume they plan to do the other two books into movies as well. All in all, I enjoyed the movie. I felt they captured the crazy style of the capital amazingly. It's was hilarious and how I imaged it. I think they picked actors who fit the roles well and I look forward to seeing the next two movies.

Doctor Who: So, I watched the Titanic mini series, which has Jenna-Louise Coleman. For those who don't know, she is the next companion after we cry our eyes out when Amy and Rory sadly leave us. Good news to that very very sad news, is that I personally think she will make a wonderful companion. When I first saw her I was unsure, mostly because I love Amy and I will miss her, but when I saw her in Titanic- I adored her. Simply put, she seems like she will be lots of fun. So if your unsure about her as the new companion, watch the Titanic mini series, it comes to DVD April 27th, I am pretty sure. Watch it. I think you will love her too.
Also am I the only one who picked up a hint about the Statue of Liberty being a Weeping Angel next season, or am I crazy? If its true, this sounds like a sad but Epic season.

Okay, I think I have talked enough. Next I will work on the WOTDS and then finally post this post.

April 16th 2012
WOTDS
Nox (Latin)- Night
Vacuus (Latin)- Free from
Idir (Irish)- Between
Kaafii (Hindi)- Enough

“ENOUGH!”

The room fell dead silent, someone slipped slightly and you knew in these silence they were blushing at the fact they broke it for a second. Someone shuffled nervously,t heir rubber shoes sliding to and fro without being pickup from the hardwood floor. A heavily annoyed sigh came from her left and she restrained from rolling her eyes and instead mimicked his sigh and spoke in a more lady light tone, but her bitterness was stillevident.

“I believe I am my own person, and there for have every right to make my own decisions. I have made mine and I don't think it is really right to chime in for or against it-”

But chime in they did, becoming an almost in-audible jumble of words and phrases. In the between the jumble words stuck out, a sentence make sense, before others swallowed the rest.

“Not right-”
“I have never-”
“What a ghastly choice-”
“What are you thinking?-”
“Why-”
“What is wrong-”
“How dare-”
“Spell-”

This time he came to her rescue with a caring hand on her shoulder, with a hidden wink, his voice boomed above everyone else, and silence stuck. Sure even the owls paused inthe trees nearby.

“Let her finish!” His hand left her shoulder and she quickly stole it to her side, not wanting to loose the support.

“Thank you, Gavon.” She looked out at everyone again, knots tying and untying in her gut, not at her choice, but at her peers and her family. They just can't understand, and I can't understand that.

“Love knows no shape or conformity. Love is simply what it is and I love Gavon-”

“But he is-”

The glint of red, reflecting as flecks of burning embers in his blue eyes direction at the one who spoke and it was like a zipper had zipped and locked into place by invisible hands to close his mouth and keephim from finishing his sentence.

“I know, and I know you all know-”

Someone dared to expertly throw a wooden knife at the chest of Gavon, who not only caught it with eased but barely seemed to notice it had been thrown, simply released it to clatter to the floor. The room was silent again. Only one person can throw knifes like that, her brother. All thinking they would loose their lives as the cost of his reckless attempt.

“Please.” Her hand tightened its hold, anchoring her in place, otherwise she feared all would well up and swallow them whole, alone, without love; an unforgiving ocean of disapproval, of fear, of rejection, or worst of all- a mob to kill them.

Gavon turned to her then, and she knew that look. The look of I told you so. The look of why did you bother? The look that they would never understand as you do. She looked back to the unruly crowd, of those who once loved her, but now can no longer accept her for who she is and what she loves. She whispered quieter then any mortal ears could hear, words only for the one beside her. Once I finish talking, just take me away. I just want to be free from this, free with you.

“I thought I would give you all the curtsy of informing you that I was leaving, that I was in love. That I want to spend my days with the one I love. I simply did not want you to waste your days searching for me, thinking I was lost, or worrying if I had died and my body lost. My leaving is not up for discussion. Good bye.”

Dust swirling up was the only indication that someone had once been in that spot. No one spoke, for a moment they didn't even breath. Then one by one, sure they had not been killed by the beast, began to draw in air and release it. Someone fell to their knees, crying hysterically for the lost of a child, at what she believed to be the death of a child. Soothing masculine hands try to console the grief. A knife whistled through the air and lodged into the wall where the monster once stood. Others filed out of the house to leave the family to grieve in peace over a child lost to the night.

TARDIS Checkered Traveling

Arch my African Wool Giraffe

Man, I want to go to Africa so bad. I want to travel in general. My big dream is to travel to another planet, but I worry that won't happen in my life time so in the mean time- I just want to travel everywhere and anywhere on Earth that I can.

My dad just recently came home from a two week trip in Africa. He climbed Kilimanjaro and went on a Safari. Which is what I want to do- not climb the mountain, but go on a Safari. Seeing the pictures, now I want to go even more. I am itching to go. Baby Elephants, Giraffes, lion with a fresh kill, the trees. I want to see it all. And I can just image the inspiration for drawing/writing it would give seeing all that in person. Just the pictures alone make me want to write and draw. Which you will see the result below. He brought back some gifts which included an adorable Giraffe made completely of dyed wool. The dyes made all natural with plants, which is awesome. He is so cute! I have named him Arch and he is a rather happy little woolly Giraffe as you can see by his large smile.

Arch's close up
Doodle of Arch by Nekodra
 Little Arch there inspired some doodling. I really like how it turned out the the picture does not do it justice. I need a working scanner again. >.<;

It was so fun to doodle. I just love drawing checkers. I feel really comfortable right now with my current style of checkered pictures I have been doing lately. Love it. There are parts that bother me, like the leg, his ear, but that aside I think it turned out really well.

I also got two awesome metal bracelets. Some really soft comfy wool slippers made by the same lovely ladies who make the wool stuff animals. Awesome wooden key-chain's, some cans of this energy drink called Shark, which was tasty. It tastes like Red bull but with a strawberry twist. The lite version is a little iffy. Has this small hint of cough syrup taste a second after that other tastes fade. Its almost not there, so I can at least finish it. But the original was really good and I kind of wish my dad had gotten a few more, but oh well. The can states is from Austria, which is were Red bull comes from so maybe its also imported, we have Red bull, so maybe I just never noticed Shark before. I will have to keep an eye out for it.

Progress of Doodle by Nekodra
There is talk of my whole family going on a Safari sometime in the nearish future- which is a lot of people. Our Europe group was numbered at 13 people and that is not including the 4 family members who couldn't make it on that trip. And man, I will never forget that trip. Two weeks and getting a taste of Germany, France, Switzerland, and technically I was in Italy too. Oh can't forget Austria, which was so beautiful. I loved Austria and I will go back. I also will be going back to Germany for this awesome town's 1,000 year anniversary. 1,000 years! That's so awesome. I want to go back and spend more time at every place we went, but Geneva. I am good never seeing Geneva again, had a really bad experience there.

But anyways, I hope plans work for that because I really want to go to Africa. If I do get a chance to go- I plan to hopefully bring enough money to buy one of every different wool stuff animal they have. I will also bring a fresh sketch book and take so many pictures.

To the right there is a progression of Arch's Checkered Doodle I did. I am also worked on one of the wool tiger my dad got for my mom. Not sure if I like it as much as Arch, but it came along nicely. Which by the way, Arch was drawn completely with pen, first lightly with BiC and then inked with Uni-ball. Gimp was just used to brighten the badly taken picture with my phone and then watermarked.

I want to share a wonderful blog:
I stumbled across this blog the other day. WordPlay: Helping Writers Become Authors. I have only read a few older post, but the post I found first was- Most Common Mistakes: The Case of the Vanishing Setting Which is wonderful and I suggest taking a peek. Now I have an urge to go work on my story and fix some setting problems I am sure I have. ^_^; I want to do it while that blog post is fresh in my mind.

Modern Day Magic:
Is coming along nicely. I worked on it the other night and the results of what happened made me super happy. I think I can declare Chapter one officially finished aside for minor tweaking and editing that I am sure it needs. Chapter two is nearly that point. Chapter 3 is getting close but I can't quite figure out how I want it to end. Then on to actually writing Chapter 4, which I had ideas noted and I just have to figure out if that is what should come next or if there needs to be anything else. Need to think of a Shenanigan for it, escalate from the pretty minor things of the first few chapters and have some sort of actual problem. Enough fluff and getting to know the characters, its time to jump into the shallow end, enough of this tipping of the toes. Then it will soon be time to drive into the deep end. Get all bloody.

I also need to think of a better name for the eventual slayer character. I am currently calling her Shina. I don't know if I like it and I can't settle on a last name. I really want to use Helsing as a last name because she comes from a family of Vampire hunters, but it doesn't feel right. Helsing is used too much. I don't know what to do?! *throws up hands in frustration* Gah.

But! I have settle on the Queens name! I am so happy and I think it fits. I feel it works. *nods* Shall I say her name? I have told you everyone elses names.

Queen Madori

Yes, I am aware its a drink. It also green, has the word Mad in it. It has a nice ring to it. Queen Madori. Feels right. I feel it really fits.

But what do I do about Shina? Gah. Other that that, again, things are coming along nicely with Modern Day Magic. Now with the Most Common Mistakes: The Case of the Vanishing Setting in mind, I need to go over those first 3 chapters and make sure I am setting the scene right. Already fixed a few things, added a little more to the scene. I see it vividly, but I need to make sure my readers can see it as clearly as I do.

Current word Count from the last few days:

2/03/12- 20,161
2/04/12- 20,967
2/05/12- 21,901
2/06/12- 22,068
2/07/12- 22,778
2/08/12-
23,394
Still pretty distracted by Disgaea

Though I have been thinking- I know I want to self publish this book when I finish it, but there is one thing. What do I do about an editor? I want it professionally edited before I eagerly go to Amazon and set up the whole self publish thing. Does it cost a lot? How do I go about getting editor? I know I am a ways off from that point, but it just crossed my mind that other day and I can't get it out of my head. Where do I even start to look for one? >.<; When I get closer to it, I will actually actively start looking into that, but its still lingering on my mind.

Psych Count Down:

Other Promos Back in February and Psych Auto-tune Promo
Also can't forget the reveal of Psych Season 7 Officially announced
Lol, I found this while looking for the Superbowl Promo, Psych/White Collar

Which on the subject of Psych, I just finished the book Psych: Mind of Magic. I enjoyed it. If your a Psych fan, I suggest the books, well at least that one. William Rabkin captures the characters well, its completely Psych as you love it! But it book form. I can't wait to see how the other books are. Last I saw there are 5 in total.

Now I am reading the Doctor Who quick read, Magic of the Angels. Only a 3 chapters in so far, plan to read more later tonight. 11th Doctor is really growing on me, I have already laughed out loud to classic Doctor lines. Once I finish this quick read, I plan to debate which of the other 4 Psych books to read next or which of the 10th Doctor books I have yet to read. So many books I want to read! I also have about 50 samples on my kindle, its so hard to decide which book I want to read next. I also just picked up two sample books for studying, On Writing by Stephen King and 101 Creative Writing Exercises by Melissa Donovan who has the blog Writing Forward. Which reminds me, I haven't read a tip from 101 Writing Tips by Travis Thrasher in a few days. Note to self, at least read a few tonight.

So many books!

Also slightly of topic, but not- its Doctor Who:
I am currently re-watching this years Doctor Who Christmas special and I have have to say, Doctor Who always knows how to pull on my heart. It really does. I don't think any show makes me feel quite like Doctor Who does. I can't describe it other then, swelling love. Makes me chest swell and twist in bursting happiness and sadness at the same time. Amazing that Doctor. Just amazing, and everyone who works to make Doctor Who something I can enjoy. Amazing and Thank you.

Alright here are the side notes and have a wonderful evening:

Hologram Crush

Working on Modern Day Magic
I have done a lot on Modern Day Magic the last few days. I won't post another sample. For one I don't know if anyone wants to read it and second I want to publish it when its finished- so I shouldn't give anymore away or anything like that. In the words of River Song, "Spoilers, Sweetie, spoilers." (I need to watch more Doctor Who, I can't recall if that's how she said it or not. >.< I feel ashamed.)

I feel a lot better about some spots in the beginning of Modern Day Magic. I sat down late that night after I posted Pineapplious Meltdown: Link, 3am-5am (I am a night owl as you can see but the date and time on this post) and I just really studied what I had in that beginning part. I re-work a lot of it. It still needs improvement, but I think its getting there though. I fixed some awkward spots, at least I hope so. ^_^;;

I read/studied a some of Neil Gaiman's American Gods that I bought for my kindle, just hours before the sale ended to gauge what a published book looks like. I mean- I read all the time and I inhaled books as a kid. You should have seen my book shelves as a youngin' I was so proud of how many books I had. You should see my first few Harry Potter books, book 4 mainly; the poor bindings are falling apart from how many times I re-read them. My grandma pre-ordered the hardbacks for me as each new book came out. I grew up with Harry and fell in love with Snape. His death hit me the hardest, along with Headwig. I think there are even tear stains on those pages. I always took at least two of them with me, refusing to leave them at home despite their size. My mom thought I was crazy keeping so many large books in my backpack that I took everywhere. That's why I love my kindle. I do miss holding an actual book in my hands, but being able to carry so many books with me and not break my shoulder is a dream come true. I honestly have wanted a kindle since I was like 6 years old. I swear to the Gods, I dreamed of owning a kindle when I was 6 years old.

As I was saying, I used to inhale books as a child. But now when I read, I make sure to take a moment and look at it from another prospective. A tip I have taken and heard from many sources. To study in order to help improve my own writing abilities. I also went and got a few samples for my kindle on grammar to help improve on that level, which reminds me. I need to go through those and find the one that's best for me and buy it. I am up to Tip #25 in Travis Thrasher's 101 Writing Tips, reminding me I should read a few more before I go to bed. I really recommend it. Its reassuring when you come across something you've already doing and its inspiring to learn new tips.

I wish I had someone I could go to for editing/advise. Someone who has publish books and knows all about it, the process, whats its like, ya know? I won't name names, but I had a dream the other night where I became good friends with an actor/wrote a few scripts for a show; who was willing to help with my writing. Give me tips, comment his thoughts on some ideas. Though I hate dreams like that. It was one of those hyper realistic ones. When I woke up for a split second I was baffled the text I got from him wasn't on my phone, then I was fully conscious and cursed my cruel unconscious for toying with my emotions. I guess I just sort of want a mentor, a friend who has published works. >/<;;

I mean, I follow a several writers on twitter and there is a website, Writing Forward, that I frequent, along with the writing tip books- but reading all that advice while amazing and helpful, doesn't really replace specific help and tips towards a project your working on. I can't keep posting stories on here for the public that I want to publish for risk of someone taking it and such; just in hopes for feedback. I want someone to correspond with one and one. Someone who is also a good friend. Its a nice thought. But I am just going to post random little short stories that I am not too attached to and talk about the progress on the stories I want to publish without giving too many details.

So here is the progress via word count on Modern Day Magic, because I am trying to do at least 500+ words a day:
1/21/12: 9,583 words
1/22/12: 10,365 words
1/23/12: 10,854 words
1/24/12: 11,035 words so for today/technically

Oh! I almost forgot, I finally worked out a good amount on the back story for the Evil Queen and what her evil plans are. *bounces* I am so happy. Also a small 'map' so to say of some of the things that are going to happen via the Queen and such, along with miscellaneous things in the relationship between Cole and Ember. Though I still can't decide on a name for the Evil Queen, so for now she is just Queen. I have also flushed just a bit more out of Ember's past.

I have also flushed out Danny, which is Edward, Embers brother's friend from highschool. And currently Ember's college buddy, when Edward disappeared Danny and Ember grew closer as friends. So they hang out on occasion and have a few classes together.

I have never actually finished a story before, most of my short stories I feel could have so much more, so I have never felt like I have completed any of them. I am determined to finish this story. I have the ending, I have the plot pretty much worked out and I am working to write at least 500 words a day on it. And you know what? I am having so much fun writing it. I am growing fond of it and passionate about it. I will finish this story. I hope its the first story I publish and I hope it does well. I really do. I think its really starting to come together.

I personally feel rather proud of myself right now.

In other news:

Here is amazing article about the newest filming of Red Dwarf X for episode 5, which was last Friday. It has me wishing once again for the TARDIS, although when don't I wish for a TARDIS? Driven by 10th Doctor of course and a hopeful wish of snogging, give me a moment while I cue a day dream scene. *cough* But here is another wonderful -Spoiler free of course- article on a recording or Red Dwarf Link

I really wish I had the money to go down and see a recording of Red Dwarf just to see some of it, its sounds so wonderful! Did you read the article? If your a Red Dwarf fan and you read the article, then I am sure you know how I feel right now. There is talk about how gloriously funny the script has been. Talk on how Rimmer has more of those tongue twisting quick lines which Chris Berrie (Arnold J. Rimmer [Aka Smeghead]) is delivering wonderfully. Part of what makes Rimmer so awesome is the things he says, plus he is the most handsome of the Boys from the Dwarf. *Swoon* I'd like to hard his hard light-- yeah....*cough* Apparently episode 5 has a scene with a moment between Lister and Rimmer that has my dying of curiosity, but no spoilers. 8 Months is so far away.

So I am going to go watch Rimmer- I mean watch some more Red Dwarf. Well after I work some more on Modern Day Magic. I am currently working on this one chapter and I think its turning out well and the ideas are just flowing. So enough fixing up and completing this post and back to writing the story. *bounces of excitedly* ..... *pauses*... o.o Or not. I just stumbled across marathon of episodes of Full House, let the nostalgia explode. Omgoodness! I haven't watched this since I was a tike. Wow....

*distracted*...oh-The side notes. Night:
