Delicious excitement explosion

I just can't contain myself and I must exclaim my excitement somehow and that's sharing it with you, my readers!

(Oh and obviously I did not draw that image, that I got from twitter which is the final image of the puzzle pieces we were given over Twitter before the announcement.)

Edit: I realized I forgot to link a few things, I fixed that >.>

Psych has been officially picked up for its seventh season!! And we will be getting our promised musical, and Tim Curry returns!!! (being that Rocky horror picture show is in my top three favorite movies, I can say I love Tim Curry and the ep. American Duos is one of my favorites) I am bubbling over with excitement! Still have have over a month before season 6 starts up again, but I am head over heels happy about seventh season!

Here is a Link to the awesome reveal from James Roday (Shawn) and Dule' Hill (Gus) watch it, if your a Psych-O you'll love it.

Here is a Link to the article about 7th season! It's short and if your a psych-O you start bubbling with excitement too about all this!

I wonder what delicious flavor they may have in store for the 100th episode? The article says season 7 will have 16 episodes, the current number is at 88 according to IMDB.com so that means they will have their 100th episode in the 7th season. They have to do something pineappleliously epic, right? I can't wait, have I told you my love for the number 7 and 14? This just makes my love grow, I am so unbelievably eager for the musical episode!

Okay, enough about psych for the non-Psych-O readers I have and on to my writing.

I haven't posted in a while because I have been working on my stories I intend to publish, so those I don't want to post on the internet. I plan to publish those. And I don't want to post without a short story because that's the point of my blog, to post my random short stories and writing exercises for peer review and tips.

Speaking of tips, I have started reading this really awesome 101 Writing tips by Travis Thrasher link to amazon about the book. I just bought it, after reading the sample on my kindle. And I plan to read more after I post this. I personally recommend it, also Orson Scott card does amazing fiction writing tip books as well, link to his amazon. I also recommend those and his Ender series.

Now I need to scramble for a short story to share, I will return: 25 mins later
Yeah, this was the story I started for yesterdays WOTDS and I just edited and finished it.

WOTDS

Harcelement (French)- Harassment
Guileless- Without cunning; innocent
Ashlar- Squared stone used in building walls.
Dubitare (Latin)- to hesitate, to waver

“Ha, that’s funny!” Dr. Nianna Rosa Lerox doubled over laughing, after a moment she took some deep breaths to calm herself and stood back up again, trying to keep a straight face. “Oh, that’s cute, you think I am guileless.” She smirked, a suddenly and unnerving change from the honest and innocent smile her lips had been forming just moments before.

That gave him pause. “What do you mean?” he backed away, unsure, scared. This petite women terrified him. They had just shared a wonderful dinner, that he had spared no expense on and he didn't make that much, he sat pretty average when it comes to wages, but he was always taught to treat a girl well.

“Is anyone really innocent?” She smirked, she had to admit, perhaps her power was getting to her, but why not have a little fun now and again. Normally she just killed them and was done, not that she had killed may yet, but she didn't really play with them, didn't want to risk it. But it she had to admit, this was fun.

“What the hell, are you crazy?” he bumped into the stone wall behind him, he was trapped, with some insane chick.

“Insanity is pretty relative.” She chided, placing her hands on either side of his shoulders on the square stone wall, feeling the rough cold texture on her fingers. “In fact, in a few moments, you'll probably start believing your the crazy one, so far that's been the case.” She grinned at the memories, and it fascinated her that so far out of the 5 she had killed, there had been 5 completely different reactions to knowing they were about to die, but all clearly struggled for at least a second with the thought, 'Have I gone mad?'.

“Wha-?” Then his eyes widen and he did, for a moment wonder, have I gone mad? Before his world shuttered and burst with pain. He panicked, he could feel his body surge and his heart raced, loud and painful in his chest. He eyes stopped working, he saw nothing but the burned image of a creature that was killing him. As cliché as the the images was, fire red eyes and two sharp canine teeth, and that’s when he registered such pale skin, normally its not something you noticed being Washington, you rarely saw the sun, so why would such pale skin raise any flags here?

He could feel the grip on his shoulders, he knew this petite creature was far stronger, but he could feel his life fading, he could feel the blood as it left his neck, and he could almost swear his soul was being devoured, but in the base need to survive, the most primal ache, and the despite fear of death of becoming nothing, he clawed with his last strength, with futile effects to escape, and with his last thought, Maybe people should respect such old myths.

Then he was gone.

Afterword

Is it too egotistical to get chills from your own stories? Cause the ending to that did.

That was Ms. Nianna Rosa Lerox, and some unnamed dude. Nianna is from the story I am working on titled Off the Deep End. One of several stories I hope to publish one day. I figured it can't hurt to post this, its such a short snip-it and the words worked too well and I finally have a scene with her killing someone. I haven't actually written much on this story yet, but I wasn't quite sure how to treat her killing someone and now I have something and I think it fits her pretty well.

What do you think?

I think I have yammered on enough to you for today. Now to go back to watching more Wizards of Waverly Place on Netflix and finding out about dinner, because I am starving. Have a wonderful night and please, someone review, someone have any tips? Honestly, I am posting here because I would like peer review, and I am not asking for undeserved pats on the butt, criticism. I know I am not perfect, and hell I know I have comma issues, I am sure there are still several errors despite how many times I re-read my stories.

Anyways, have a wonderful night! Here are the side notes:

--Follow me on Twitter, because I will tweet every time I post on my blog and I will post a link. Nekodra's Twitter and remember Sharing is Caring, re-tweet to your friends if they might enjoy this.

Beyond the Stars excited

So excited about new Red Dwarf! <3

I just read this wonderful article from someone who was at the first shooting for Red Dwarf X and as excited for the airing of the new season it made me. I have to say what pleasantly caught me off guard and super ecstatic was that there is planned already for another season! "This isn't just a one off return season for a last huraah, it's what hoping to be a kick off to another run!!" -that was more or least a quote from the article, then my own words, though I am not sure if I quoted it exact of not, so I just want to state that, but that is my excited tone behind the words.

All I have else to say is, I beg of you, as tempting as it maybe to spoil and as curious I am to hear about each episode, for those who are so lucky enough to be at a shooting, don't you dare, dare breath one toe out of line about the show, because if there are spoilers you will ruin the chance of there being another season. *grins* Threat aside now, I wish I was able to go to a shooting, but alas I am jobless and in America...even if I had won a ticket through the twitter contests, which would be very unlikely, I would have no way of getting to the studios. I don't know where it's shooting, I just assume England somewhere. ^_^;;

Here is a Link to this wondrous article, that is completely spoiler free, while delightfully making you long for it to be September 2012 already, I will say as I often will say when feeling inpatient about an upcoming event; where is the TARDIS when you need one?! After a quick snog with 10th Doctor, I would want to make stops for the rest of Psych season 6, but first I want to skip ahead, watch the fist episode for Red Dwarf X, then make a U-turn for the second half if Psych season 6, pop back for the second episode of Red Dwarf, followed by the promised Musical episode for the opening of Psych season 7. There are too many things I am looking forward to and they are almost a year away! I don't know how I will handle the wait, not only that, but the second half of Psych season 6 is over two months away, and two month feels too long, so how will I manage the 9 months till September?

That aside, I hope you didn't miss me too much the last few days. At least it feels like several days *Checks date for last post* Yup, several days....my sleep schedule is horribly wonky, but I may have fixed it, but I only woke up at 7am this morning because of horrible back pain...I need to find some pain relief, this bath isn't helping much, a little but not enough, now that the shock distracting excitement has worn down, I am now feeling the pain again.

Also I just wasn't in a talkative mood. I did work a little on "To Hell with it" and I did write a WOTDS (Words of the Day Stories) yesterday, but it was off, didn't include Nekodra or Vampires and I just didn't find it suitable to post. I have all day, so I will go find those pain relievers, maybe go back to sleep for a little while, then I will poke at seeing about writing today's WOTDS and working some more on "To Hell with it" though honestly I am feel the urge to work on "The Dreams we Weave", which is on of the novels I am working on. But at the same time I have been working on it in my head, and it wants to re-write several things and take a different turn the I have it currently going, so at the same time, I am a little peeved at it. So we will see where inspiration takes me today, but I will at least attempt a suitable WOTDS to post.

So while you begin reading the rest immediately, there is actually likely to be a hefty break here. I will insert the hours number for amusement later when I come back to this. It could be many, because I might be heading home for the holidays tonight, but it could be tomorrow. Anyways, to the mid-post break:
.............9 hrs and 40 minutes later, after a good nap from 9am to 1:30pm, and not heading home yet, that will be tomorrow, I am back with today's WOTDS and working on edits and the Afterword for this post. Enjoy.

Note: to learn a little about Nekodra (The Oc) before reading a short story on her please take a look a the page titled WOTDS Guide, give you an idea what the WOTDS is and about Nekodra the character who stars in my WOTDS. Link to the WOTDS Guide

WOTDS December 19, 2011
(Note: they will be missing any special markings above letters because I don’t know how to add them, heh. Sorry. Also some I can’t type the word, but I will give the language and definition.)
Ethereal- Of or relating to the heaven: heavenly. Being light and airy: delicate.
Ectype- A reproduction; copy.
Venatic- of, like, or pertaining to hunting
Failing- A flaw or weak point
Veritas (Latin)- Truth
(Arabic)- Lesson
Souchou (Japanese)- Early morning

Deer, Deer, oh Dear
by Nekodra K.D. LaCroix

Alright, a simple lesson, a simple little new exercise for myself. Nekodra looked around the tall grass and bushes placed nearby, in search for any movement, for the ectype of a deer she had made, only it was about the size of a bunny and it was really a plushie and not an actual flesh and blood deer, but it was given enough energy and a sort of AI to move around and ability to pretend eat the tall grass, essentially acting very deer like, but super fuzzy and blue button eyes.
She was giving herself a lesson in hunting there were also a few bunnies wondering the tall grass, but it’s the deer she needs to find and if she ends up spilling the fluff of a bunny then she failed.
Vertias be told, it was a boring day on this extremely early morning, having had woken up at this ungodly hour of 8 am and was unable to fall back asleep, and she realized she is always practicing her ability to control fire and as much as she enjoys it, and loves it, there was no real chance of failure anymore, currently she had no challenges when it comes to the practice of it. Without any new exercise ideas, she has reached max level with her fire element, and while it’s good to practice to keep said max level, she wanted something challenging today, so here she is, pretending to hunt a plush deer.
She created an enclosed area of a box shaped ceiling-less dome, with the insides of overgrown grass, large bushes, and a tree or three, scattered about. The grass came up to her hips, making it about 2 feet tall, some patched were shorter and there were some patches only an inch or two tall. The bushes were a dark green in comparison to the grass, with mistletoe like leaves because with it being the holiday season its was easier to copy something on the tip of her mind which happened to first be mistletoe, only it had long oval royal purple colored berries with a maroon spiral up it like a candy cane, again it’s the holiday season. The berries tasted like black cherry warheads (the candy, which sadly is hard to find now a days).
Nekodra likes to amuse herself with creating odd looking berries that taste like something else, plus it was good practice for her Eec ability (Energy Ectype copying, yes its redundant, and that what amuses her, its also a self given title to her ability of being a human copy-machine, which she pronounces eek.) it is good practice to splice two different things together, the texture of a juicy berry and the flavor of a hard candy, while making it look someone unique, which takes more concentration then a straight copy, that and its also not something in front of her to make a direct copy, but something she has to recall from memory meaning more concentration to get the details correct, then once she has the initial prototype correct, then she just has to make direct copies of that onto the bushes in a semi-random arrangement, but it’s the original that takes work to make correctly, and it had only taken her three tries to get how she wanted it.
There were also two trees that stood next to each other, not much taller then Nekodra’s 4’11” tall frame. They were mostly typical pine trees, but with red and green pine cones, cause she might as well have fun, and it tis the season. Then there was a weeping willow, with abnormal flowers with centers that blink with alternating purple and blue like Christmas lights, which matched the colors of the strange flowers, which sat at the edge of a small pond that took up one of the corners to the dome. The four walls of the dome were each 8 feet in length, and 8 feet tall.
Nekodra figured, start off simple, I can’t expect anything too challenging. When she has never hunted anything before, so level one, a small enclosed area, 3 bunnies for invalid targets that result in failure and 1 deer which results in success, all four made to be the same size.
She paused; crouching in her right hand was a ball of fire about the size of a baseball, which she had been idling playing with as a yo-yo until she paused at the rustle from a bush up ahead.
This flame yo-yo was her first incarnation of being able to use fire, though now that she is more advanced with her usage of flames, once the ball hits something, she can have it morph, to say wrap them in flames like a rope and drag them back to her, or flick it back and forth and just bop them repeatedly, or actually catch them on fire, which no longer happens on accident, or at least not nearly as often and it takes a lot more to break her concentration now.
She watched, silently and holding her breath, the bush just a few feet in front of her, something had nestled inside of it, but the leaves were too thick to see, and she wasn’t going to cheat by simply removing the leaves of her self created bush, what fun with that be. No, she would inch closer, see if she can startle it out of the bush and into the open. She side stepped, in hopes to drive the bunny or deer into a clearing in the grass that was on one side of the bush. Her hand raised slightly ready to flick the fiery yo-yo. She neared the bush, once she was half a foot away, she leaped closer, landing with a small thud as both her boots hit the ground with the weight of her body behind them.
The creature leaped from the no longer safety of the bushes but not into the clearing, and it was in the shadow of the bush making its color hard to determine. Nekodra hesitated and with a second of doubt, the creature had darted off and she lost track of it in tall grass, cursing, she stood up straight and took in a sweeping glance around her.
            Silence.
“Damn, I wonder if they lost energy and can’t move anymore.”  She looked around again, “Or maybe they are napping...” She cursed again, and plopped down, plucking a few berries from the bush. “I’ll take a break too then.” Popping the first berry into her mouth, relishing the sour taste as her lips puckered involuntarily. She was picking up another berry from her cupped palm, when the deer popped its head out from around another bush and bounced forward, nabbing the berry from her fingers, spilling juice it can’t actually eat down its plush mouth as it pretended to chew the berry.
She couldn’t help but burst into giggles, “So much for being a hunter.” She chuckled picking up the soft deer, which stretched its neck out and nabbed another berry from her palm as it past by. “Rawr! I am a hunter, you should run from me.” She brought the deer to eye level, with a mock glare, which the deer proceeded to tilt its head at her question as it chewed on another berry, the juice dripping off its chin and onto her pants.
She wanted to face palm, so much for an attempt at hunting. She set the deer back down and held out another berry to it. Well might as well enjoy the Ethereal feeling of this little enclosed area for a while longer before I take it down. She stretched out her legs and leaned back, using her hands as a pillow and started up at the sky, watching the clouds slowly shift when one of the bunnies landed on her chest. She tilted her head at the bunny on her, as another appeared pulling her hair mistaking it for food it could pretend to eat, with a sigh she spoke to the bunny on her chest. “I am supposed to be the huntsmen, not Snow White…” It tilted its head, and bounced off disappearing into a bush.

Afterword

Lol, this was fun. I toyed with the idea of it being a bunny and her mistakenly spilling its fluffy insides, but then I decided naw, she will be unsure and end up not attacking it, then having her take a short break, and then it hit me. How funny would it be for the deer to just end up walking up to her and stealing a berry? Answer hilarious! I rather like the outcome of this story, its fun and what I hope was an unexpected ending.

So I have decided in honor, of the WOTDS with the 14 words and how fun it was to try to get so many words to fit into one story, that from now on I will do 7 words per story. While 14 its twice as good as 7, 7 its a bit better to work with, because some days have crappy words to work with, and then between the 12 apps for words of the day, it gives a decent range to pick from, while still having to use most of them.

But yeah, that was fun, I hope you found it amusing too. And this story is diffidently cannon to the world of Dreaming Reality (Which is the novel I am working on that Nekodra is from.) Though later on in the series that will be Dreaming Reality, but cannon none the less. And I like this, doing these WOTDS and having them involve Nekodra I think is going to help me get more done with that novel. It gives me little one shots that I can plug into the story line. *Claps* This makes me really happy. Dreaming Reality is my little pride and joy, that really hasn't been written at all, but I want to, and I mean to, but I never end up doing it, and this is at least getting stuff written down and it makes me soooo happy. *bounces excitedly* Super Happy! in fact I makes me want to work on the beginnings of Dreaming Reality. See this little shot of a story would take place....oh roughly 7 or so years from where the story will start.

So I hope you enjoyed that, I am off to work on the beginnings of Dreaming Reality, see you next post. Here are the side notes and then I am off:

-Follow me on Twitter, because I will tweet every time I post on my blog and I will post a link.  Nekodra's Twitter and remember Sharing is Caring, retweet to your friends if they might enjoy this.

-Also if you have never seen Red Dwarf it’s a great British Sci-fi comedy, and a new season after many years will air September 2012 for Red Dwarf X. So excited they are currently filming, can’t wait!

Sci-fi Loving Giddyness

Forward:

There will be a short story, but first I want to talk. I feel giddy and I want to talk about it. As per my morning routine, when I can't force myself to fall back asleep and dream some more, I begrudgingly stretch and get up, and I check twitter in hopes of awesome Psych things, though now  follow a lot of people, my twitter account which started as a means to stalk Psych information, now involves a lot of things that are semi-interesting, but off topic, I check twitter, email, which email involves the crossing of fingers for updates on Psych Fanfics, then facebook if I am too absorbed into the world of Fanfiction updates, and when I remember I check Dvice app and Blaster app, note this checking has all been on my iPhone who is named Ivianna, but thats neither here or there, and today I haven't look at blaster yet because of awesome-ness I read on Divce.

Days like today, make me all giddy, and not just because of an awesome Shules fanfiction that was updated with TWO chapters, but two articles I read on Dvice, make a sci-fi lover like me, heart to flutter with giddiness. Scientists maybe confirm latest warm, wet, habitable exoplanet [ <-- link to the article] Whenever I stumble across and read these 'falling into the goldilock zone' articles, makes the Sci-fi nerd in me, who's biggest dream is of colonizing a planet in my life time, heart skip a beat in guarded hope. I know finding Earth like planets doesn't me we will colonize it anytime soon. I know this, and it makes me so sad, if I was rich, or if I had a job period, but it sorta has to be a decent job to do this, but if I ever become insanely rich, by some crazy luck, you can bet your life NASA would get so much of my money, because if it comes down to getting needless expensive things or being able to give NASA the founds they need to research and make a ship that can travel hundreds of light-years, I am going to spend my money on NASA. Screw having pointless things if I can help fund something so-Amazing. I would only leave myself enough to be comfy which wouldn't take much and the ability to travel. Because I honest to the gods, I want to one day step into another planet.

But also, mentions of planets like this make me giddy not just in the hopes of seeing that planet with my own eyes, but of life on other planets. I have been saying, or at least believing, that there is no way in Hell, we are the only living creatures in this insanely vast and practically endless universe. For one, look at the diversity in the living creatures so far on Earth alone, look how different not only in how we look, we evolved, but in the complexity of how we interact and fit together, and really when it comes down to it, one little difference could have vastly changed our outcome, and statistically with how large the universe is, how close minded and egocentric can we, as a race, be to think we are the only ones with a planet housing life? On the grand scheme of things, thinking we are alone in this vastness is the silly and insane thought and belief. To quote myself  "-So how can us, humans, say where life can and can’t exist, when we haven’t traveled passed our moon? That’s like stepping out onto your porch or looking out a window and saying California can’t have life, I can’t see it from here." - Nekodra K.D LaCroix, from a short essay of mine. Side note: I live in Washington. Lovely rainy Washington, that's not sarcastic, I am in heaven on a stormy rainy day and in grump-ville when the sun pokes its head out, ask anyone who knows me in person. But Washington where there are lots of mountains and no matter how tall of a porch I build, I don't think I can ever spot California from here. lol. I wrote that in an essay for that Biology/English class I took last year.

So here is some insight into my belief system, call me crazy if you want, but everyone has a right to believe their own 'religion', and despite how much I joke about being insane and Queen of LaLaLand, I am pretty sure I am actually mostly sane, but really everyone has some small level of craziness in them and really its only bad if your a danger to yourself or others; moderation, everything in moderation, we are what is it, 75% made of water (googled it, huh 65% less that I recall, oh well) and too much water will kill you.

So some insight into my belief system, and I think to put a name to it, is: I am polytheistic, or also Spiritual, as a loose term I believe in The Force, more meaning I believe there are energies in the world and your beliefs, your thoughts, wishes, can influence them, I think there is the term Noetic Science, to use a term that doesn't make me look like a crazy Stars Wars fanatic. What is Neotic Science - I googled a link in case you where curious So to put in simply, how you feel, what you wish, dream, believe, influences those around you, in effects your little bubble of a world, more then you realize. Also, sort of think of it like Karma. Think of it like this, if your negative and believe negative things will happen, they do, they will, because you so strongly believe it will, that's why people may say or tell you, if you want things to get better, if you want to stop your bad luck, it starts will a positive attitude, and believe me I know how hard it is to switch from a negative perspective to a more positive. There is always kernel of truth, to things, that's where praying comes from, that's why people ask you to wish good luck for things, that's why when someone is in the hospital or just a little sick, you wish them good health. I hope that made sense....

I believe that there isn't just one universe, I believe in parallel realms and other dimensions. I also believe that the gods not only that earth believes is and yes all gods from all religions here on earth, but also those of aliens, all exist somewhere in the vastness of time and space. I believe that all Gods exist, maybe not in the way they are idealized, but they are someone. Hmm, saying time and space, does make me sound a little crazy, but its really hard for me to feel like I am getting the idea across on just how large, vast, and complex I feel the universe is. Here is another quote of mine, in which I think sums it up nicely how large the universe is and just how small our galaxy, yes our Milky Way Galaxy is in the scheme of it, "Our Milky Way Galaxy is but an atom of dust in an endless mansion, that in all of existence, has never been dusted." -Nekodra K.D. LaCroix

Does that paint the picture for you? Does that show how infinity small we are in the abstract craziness that is the universe? There is so much out there to explore, and it makes me sad to think that in my life time, I likely will never even get a chance to step out onto just one other planet. Just one. I would love to travel the universe, if only we could, but at this point in time, I fear I won't get a chance to see one with my own eyes.

As I said, this is all just an insight to what I believe in, I am in no way saying this means everyone HAS to believe this too. No, that silly. That's super silly, readers, don't think that. Believe what you believe, just give me the same courtesy and don't ask me to change what I believe. How fun would the world be, if everyone was the same? Pfft, very boring if you ask me. This world is so diverse, so many different things! That makes it fun. No keep what you believe strongly in your heart and dreams, cherish them, covet it, I think religion and belief is very personal and it shapes who you are, I don't think it something you should force onto another. Its something that's far too personal for that. I just wanted to talk about the giddiness I feel as scientist spot more and more planets that are similar to our own. Which led to some insight on what I cherish.

Here is today's short story, which is variation of yesterday's A Dance of Flames, and from a different perspective, written also a bit differently, and not the same preforamace, but a similar one:

 They Danced
By Nekodra K.D. LaCroix

They danced, flickering with a life of their own. The soft glow reflecting in the eyes of those watchers as it transformed from the flaming grass rustling in the non-existing breeze to a tree standing tall to the left of the performer. The leaves rustled as the grass had done before it, some lightly falling to the ground and burning out. There was a silent pause as all eyes watched in curiosity, in wonder of what would happen. A few gasped and many fell more silent as a tiger appeared from behind the tree. It crackles and appeared to growl, walking forward to stare in quiet wonder at all who watched. The crackling and popping tiger sat before the tree and watched, waiting. Next to appear from behind the tree was a small and silent bunny, hoping and leaping a fatal path in front of the tiger. Lunging forward, that tiger landed on top of that small glow of a bunny. The combination of the two creating a large but controlled balled blast of flames that puffed up into the air forming itself into a serpent dragon. The serpent slithered and glided through the air as though it were water. Up and down, side to side and landed itself onto a branch of the tree. Wrapped around the branch, it appeared to hiss and stick out its long flicking tongue at the attendance before it.
The performer, who was standing just behind the tree, softly waving her hands to and fro, movements that are only to be understood by the flames that could not see her but breathed and lived a life of its own,.  She herself seeming to glow and move much like the flickering and dancing flames she produced. With a single motion, the serpent swirled up along with the tree as though the plug in the tub had been pulled out. In one quick movement, the tree and the serpent became a large pulsing egg.  The egg floated and bobbed above the performer, hovering and waiting. Then shrinking with every pulse, ever so slowly till it was the size of an ostrich egg. A thick and large flickering leaf appeared under the egg causing the egg to roll down and off the edge to land on another flickering crackling leaf. Repeating the process over and over, till it land safe and softly on the ground in a glowing puff of embers.
Waiting, the audience wondered in awe. Suddenly with a loud crackling, members in the stands jumped, as the flames swirled up from where the egg once was, higher and higher, thrashing and dancing. Upwards, like a tornado it danced around the performer. Then, she was gone. The flames had danced in front of her and when it moved from before the spot she once stood, she was no longer there. The attendance whispered, and gasped. Suddenly it exploded, towards the audience, but stop as sudden as it had began and was sucked back. When the haze of the flames had calmed, there she was sitting upon the flames of a large bat, and with crackling and popping of the dancing flames, they flew off stage with a bang, disappearing, but leaving petals dancing and flickering to the ground as the only evidence that they had been there.
